Poor Dolly. She’s chosen the most popular nest in which to be Broody McBrooderson. And she doesn’t give up her spot easily. There was much shoving and growling this morning as Rosemary tried to take over the coveted spot.

I’m going into Portland in a few days, and I’ll be bringing back some fertile eggs from a friend of mine there. Hopefully Dolly will be able to hatch them out and then break her broodiness! (And also raise up a new batch of chicks !)
